Overview: We are seeking a Senior Adaptive Designer to support a global CPG brand with a packaging adaptation project.
This role will focus on adapting global design templates for packaging in global markets while ensuring regional compliance, print accuracy, and multi-language requirements.
The designer will work closely with internal teams, the repro agency, and print suppliers to maintain consistency and accuracy across a large number of SKUs and artworks.
Key Responsibilities: Adapt global design templates to market-specific packaging needs, ensuring regional compliance.Modify artwork for multi-language variants, SKU differentiation, and local market requirements.Ensure print specifications, spot varnishes, color accuracy, and dielines are correctly applied.Work within Adobe Illustrator to prepare high-quality, production-ready files.Collaborate with regional marketing teams and packaging suppliers to implement changes efficiently.Review files with production teams to ensure quality control before print.Maintain organization of packaging files and templates for future adaptations. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience with adaptive packaging design in global markets.Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, including layered file management and print production workflows.Prior experience with multi-language packaging, particularly text formatting and regional compliance.Strong understanding of print production workflows, including collaboration with repro agencies, color management (PMS colors), and substrate layers.Detail-oriented and proactive, ensuring designs meet print specifications while optimizing workflow efficiency.Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams.Attention to detail—ensuring precision in technical specifications.
