We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong experience in international accounting and deep knowledge of IFRS standards to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting financial operations across the Americas.Key ResponsibilitieSupport accounting activities for operations across the Americas, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS)Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and ensure accuracy of reported resultsAssist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controlsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial reporting and process alignmentSupport the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing supporting schedules and documentationParticipate in audits (internal and external) by providing necessary information and documentationAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecastsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency in accounting processes.Job RequiremenBachelor's degree in Accounting with active CPA registration (CRC in Brazil)Large experience in accounting.Solid knowledge of IFRS and local accounting principleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication skills in both English and SpanishProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting budget processes.Preferred QualificationsExperience with financial systems and accounting softwarePrevious experience working in a multinational company or accounting firm (Big 4)Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Protheus).Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plusWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefitsCareer development and professional growth opportunitiesMore InfoWork based onshore in Rio de Janeiro in Hybrid scale
