ESG ANALYST
**RESPONSIBILTIES**
General**:
This position focuses on supporting the ESG journey at Maxion, including global responsibility for strategic ESG projects, corporate sustainability, climate action, and decarbonization.
The role involves connecting divisions, coordinating with local teams, and fostering collaboration to establish a robust ESG framework while ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and compliance with global standards.
Specific:
- **Energy Management**
Lead efforts to collect and analyze data on energy costs associated with different contracts.
Develop an energy cost inventory and create a procurement guide to optimize purchasing strategies.
- **Tool Implementation for GHG Database**:
Lead the implementation of a centralized tool to streamline GHG data management, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
- **Advanced ESG Data Analysis**:
Utilize advanced tools and techniques to analyze large ESG datasets.
Identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- **GHG Inventory Assurance**:
Oversee the assurance process for GHG inventories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards.
- **Data Processes Mapping and Automation**:
Map, review and standardize sustainability data processes with a focus on automation, ensuring effective change management.
- **Policies Development**:
Create and implement policies to standardize processes across the organization.
- **External Reporting**
Support the preparation of the Sustainability Report, detailing the company's sustainability efforts and progress and CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance.
- **Internal Reporting**
Develop and present materials for decision-making meetings with the Sustainability Steering Committee and Leadership Team.
- **Ratings and Compliance**
Contribute to reporting efforts for investor and customer ratings, including CDP, ISE B3, ECOVADIS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, and CSA.
- **Social Indicators Management**
Identify areas for improvement and propose strategic initiatives to enhance the company's social performance.
- **Global Pacts and Partnership**
Lead global pacts such as the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and the UN Global Compact, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability commitments.
**EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- **Education Level**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, Accounting, Sustainability, or a related field.
- **Language Requirements**: Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory.
- **EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE**:
- Years of Experience: at least 2 years of experience
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across the entire company.
