Mainframe Devops Engineer (Remote)

ITTConnect is seeking four Mainframe Dev Ops Engineers (z OS modernization and automation) to work remotely for a client in the US.
This is a potentially long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries.
This client is working with one of the major players in the mainframe technology and tools area.
Job location : Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil.

Summary : Our client is looking for highly skilled Mainframe Dev Ops Engineers to lead the modernization and automation of a mainframe development environment.
These roles focus on designing and implementing Dev Ops solutions for CA Endevor to Dev Ops migration , using Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) on AWS, Azure, or IBM Private Cloud.
The desired candidates will demonstrate proficiency in Mainframe environments, CA Endevor, and modern Dev Ops tools.

Job responsibilities : Design & Implement Dev Ops Solutions : Develop and implement strategies for CA Endevor to Dev Ops migration, integrating Open Shift and cloud platforms.
CI/CD & Automation : Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Urban Code Deploy (UCD), Dependency Based Build (DBB), Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Groovy scripting.
Mainframe & Endevor Expertise : Provide in-depth technical knowledge in CA Endevor and Mainframe development environments, ensuring seamless modernization.
Migration Leadership: Lead and implement Endevor-to-Dev Ops migration project s, identifying challenges and implementing scalable, automated solutions.
Build & Deployment Automation: Develop and maintain build scripts using Groovy to streamline application packaging and deployment.
Collaborator Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical collaborators.
Problem-Solving & Scalability: Analyze system architectures, solve issues, and design robust, high-performing Dev Ops solutions.
Key skills : CA Endevor & Mainframe Development – Advanced CI/CD Tools ( UCD, DBB, Jenkins, Git) – Advanced Automation & Scripting ( Ansible, Groovy, Shell Scripting) – Advanced Containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift OCP ) – Intermediate to Advanced Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Private Cloud) – Intermediate Build & Deployment Automation – Advanced Microservices Architecture & Cloud-Native Development – preferred Performance Optimization & Monitoring – preferred Security & Compliance in Dev Ops – preferred Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Dev Ops Engineer in Mainframe and Dev Ops environments.
Hands-on experience with containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OCP.
Strong background in automating build and deployment processes using Groovy scripting.
Demonstrated success in leading Endevor-to-Dev Ops migration projects.
Strong ability to effectively engage with technical teams and business collaborators.
