Job Summary We are seeking a Semi-Senior Systems Risk Analyst to lead and govern the vulnerability analysis and remediation support program.
This role involves working closely with security, asset, and application owners to ensure vulnerabilities are identified, categorized, prioritized, and remediated on time.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in vulnerability management and the ability to drive remediation efforts across multiple teams.
Responsibilities Perform day-to-day vulnerability analysis, categorizing findings and identifying remediation strategies.
Work with asset and application owners to drive remediation efforts and validate findings.
Analyze false positives, assess risk levels, and recommend appropriate responses.
Track remediation progress, ensuring vulnerabilities are resolved in a timely manner.
Organize and facilitate vulnerability management meetings and workshops.
Collaborate with the TVM team, security teams, and asset owners to improve remediation adherence.
Create and manage tickets for vulnerability tracking and resolution.
Assist in exception management, documenting exemptions and alternative solutions for vulnerabilities.
Identify opportunities for automation in vulnerability tracking and reporting.
Recommend and implement best practices for vulnerability management.
Work on improving reporting dashboards for better risk analysis and visibility.
Qualifications and Job Requirements To be based in São Paulo, Brazil , with a willingness to work on-site three days per week .
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
3 to 5 years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or IT risk management.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
Strong knowledge of patch management, third-party software vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
Ability to categorize vulnerabilities based on risk and prioritize remediation efforts.
Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including security, IT, and application teams.
Proficiency in ticketing and tracking systems for vulnerability remediation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for false positive analysis and risk assessments.
